The youth ensemble of our parish represents a creative way for any junior high and high school student to serve our church and God through music. Stained Glass follows the principles that we all are unique colors of God and that to sing is to pray twice. This is a youth-led ministry, but adult parents are welcome to participate as well. The style of the ensemble is Contemporary Christian music with a little rockin' kick.
Open to all St. Bartholomew youth in grades 7-12 who can serve as vocalists and musicians. Stained Glass will empower kids to work together, regulary take care of all the preparation, education, and performance aspects of a youth liturgical music program. Parents' guidance and involvement are welcome. The group serves at Mass twice a month.
PRACTICE: 7 pm on Thursdays (every other week, usually alternating with Men's Choir)
