My name is Anthony Ejie. I was born and raised in Nigeria, my home country. I am the eldest of three other siblings. I moved to the United States 6 years ago to study. Before moving to the United States, I obtained my first degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (B.A.), from Imo State University in Owerri, Nigeria, and my second degree, a Bachelor of Philosophy (BPhil) from Pontifical Urban University, Rome, respectively.

Prior to my arrival in Indiana, I underwent a seminary formation program at Seton Hall University & School of Theology, New Jersey, where I graduated in 2023 with a theology degree. During my formation program, I served and worked with the people of God, both youth and adults, in schools and various parishes for 4 years as a seminarian. However, we often hear that, “Change is constant,” but it doesn't hinder my desire and love to serve God. This desire has brought me thus far to St. Bartholomew Church to continue the work of God in my position as a Youth Minister. I have brought with me my faith, my love for God & neighbors, and my youthful experiences to work and serve the youth and St. Bartholomew’s family.

Among the things I consider my hobbies include: doing outdoor activities, hanging out with friends, playing Lawn Tennis, biking, and going to the gym. I also like to volunteer when I can.
