The first step in booking St. Bartholomew Catholic Church for your wedding is to contact our Parish Office at least 6 months in advance for an appointment with a priest. No wedding dates will be confirmed until interviews with the priest and participation in the marriage preparation program have begun.

Couples Planning to Marry at St. Bartholomew Church
Either the bride or the groom must be a registered, practicing Catholic. If they are not registered at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, they must provide documentation showing membership in another Catholic Church.
Both parties must be willing to participate in the following marriage preparation:- Meet with the priest
- Respond to an pre-marital/marital assessment, such as Prepare/Enrich
- Contact Kathy Pataky, wedding coordinator, the same day you meet with the priest.
- Take part in marriage prepartion program such as Engaged Encounter or a Tobit Weekend.
- Meet with a sponsor couple
- Pay the wedding fees
At the initial meeting with the priest, the above items are explained, materials are made available to the engaged couple, the wedding date will be confirmed and added to the parish schedule book.
Ceremony preparations must be held as secondary to the marriage preparation. You will need to contact Kathy Pataky, wedding coordinator, in order to review parish policies. You may also view our Wedding Guidelines for more information.
