Welcome to the Knights of Columbus Council 1414 in Columbus, Indiana!
The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.8 million members.
We promote the core principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism through our local council, which maintains a relationship with St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. With guidance and assistance from the state and national offices, the work of the Knights is accomplished through its Council officers who guide our mission of serving the church and the community.
While the Knights is a male only organization, virtually all of our events and celebrations are open to our families and friends.
We support St. Bartholomew Church and School with a number of their events including the fall festival and Parent Teacher Organization auction. We have been the charter organization for Cub Scout & Boy Scout Troop 555. We support Gibault, a home for children founded by the Indiana Knights of Columbus that provides comprehensive programming to meet educational, emotional, social, recreational and spiritual needs.
Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church, while enhancing your own faith.
