St. Bartholomew Parish in Columbus, IN has a twin parish relationship with St. Anne Parish in Limonade, Haiti. The twinning relationship began in 1992. Friends of Haiti Ministry is the planning group that coordinates the activities of the twinning.
Parish twinning is a relationship between the two parishes based on dignity and mutual respect. The relationship is based on the exchange of mutual prayer, correspondence, and visits between pastors and parishioners of both parishes. St. Bartholomew supports programs in Limonade including safe water, goat project, school sponsorships, after-school tutoring classes, two nutrition centers for malnourished children, and much more.
